Artist and Business Development Programme
Our Artist and Business Development Programme includes access to industry mentors, release strategy and marketing support, subsidised asset production for photos, videos and merchandise, track development – such as professional mixing and mastering – brand development, tour support and contracting or legal advice.
Funding Opportunities
We have various funding opportunities available for students to apply for, including match funding to help progress a new project or idea, experience funds for help to attend conferences, training and events, and subsidised schemes to enable affordable production of promotional materials such as photos and videos.

Festivals & More
The team co-ordinates high-profile performance and work opportunities for our students – recent opportunities have included Liverpool Sound City, Leeds Festival, the Alternative Great Escape, Eurosonic (Netherlands), We Out Here Festival (Cambridgeshire) and London Jazz Festival.

Leeds Conservatoire Agency
Leeds Conservatoire Agency offers paid performance opportunities for students in a wide range of settings, including commercial events for high-profile organisations, national promoters, productions and venues.
Leeds Conservatoire Library Music
Our Library Music scheme offers students the opportunity to have their production music commissioned for marketing videos for the conservatoire.
Conferences & Workshops
- The Musicians' Survival Guide is an umbrella of resources providing opinions, experiences and practical tools from a wide range of knowledgeable professionals in various mediums, including an online database of written articles, recorded webinars and workshops, and printed guides.
- We develop and share learning tools to prepare students for entry in to work, and improve student understanding of prospects within the creative industries.
- Further opportunities and competitions to attend a variety of industry conferences and workshops are advertised throughout the year.
