London born, Leeds based actor, Dante Thomas’ journey began at Leeds Conservatoire. His third year season will see him play Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, and Pyotr Petrovich Luzhin in Crime and Punishment. His previous credits include Cardinal Wolsey in Anne Boleyn. A determined collaborator, Dante has expanded his creative network across pathways at Leeds Conservatoire and local Universities, working on multiple projects with film students outside of his training. Dante is a spoken word artist and consistently writes prose, poetry and plays. He is also well versed in multiple dance styles including the Lindy Hop, contemporary, salsa, and street, the teaching of which he assisted from the age of fifteen. A Jack-of-all-trades, Dante’s vast experiences, from magic to music are part of a conscious choice towards fulfilling his ambition of becoming a multi-faceted artist.
