Bio
Lydia Turnbull, born in Nottingham and currently based in Leeds, is a Third-year BA Acting student at Leeds Conservatoire. Whilst training, she played the title role in Anne Boleyn directed by Tom Bellerby. In her graduate season, Lydia will be performing as Isabelle in Boys Will Be Boys, directed by Erin Carter and as a part of the ensemble in the musical, The Coup Coup Club, directed by Erin Carter and Elvi Piper. An experienced collaborator, she landed her first professional job with Sneaky Experiences as White Rabbit in their Easter event, Alice in Wonderland. As a singer, songwriter, Lydia has performed at various venues including Belgrave, Allington Manor and The Holbeck, alongside her band ‘Sinistrum’. Her original song ‘This Dream’ is currently streaming on Soundcloud. After her training at Leeds Conservatoire comes to an end, Lydia is eager use her training and skills to commit to the professional industry, engaging in different performance styles on stage and screen.
