Lauren Harthorpe

Bio

Before training at Leeds Conservatoire on the BA Actor Musician programme, Lauren completed a Diploma with London College of Music. An experienced singer-songwriter, Lauren also plays guitar, piano and accordion. Her theatre credits include concert Change the Act, at Hope Street Theatre Liverpool. Now the musical, in the principal role of Isla, performed at Liverpool Theatre festival, The Colour of Light playing the principal role of Iris, at the Unity Theatre. Lauren’s TV credits as a vocalist include: Liverpool Football Club Christmas advert 2019, BBC Songs of Praise with Alad Jones and Dame Patricia Routledge 2019, Sky Sports – Home of Netball, BBC News Complaints choir documentary 201 and CBBC Blue Peter Christmas special 2013. Lauren was also the resident singer at the Titanic Hotel 2019-2020, vocalist at Summertime Song Book Concert 2020 and Our Virtual World podcast with In Demand Radio. While in training Lauren took part in the Opera North scenes project, producing her 1st opera libretto.
