Bio
Solomon Gordon is currently studying acting at Leeds Conservatoire. Born and raised in Bradford, Solomon began studying acting at age 16 whilst also studying music from the age of 11 years old, gaining multiple qualifications in both sectors.
As well as acting and singing he also specialises in Dance and Movement across varied and diverse genres. This includes, Ska, Hip Hop, Contemporary, freestyle and a little Bachata. With Movement, Solomon connects to the Grotesque and Commedia dell'arte to bring life to explosive characters and caricatures.
Most notable roles include Sam as part of the Leeds Conservatoire production of Suicide and Earl Ross from Aaron Posner’s The Cherry Tortured, an adaption of Anton Chekov The Cherry Orchard. He has also participated in hosting and singing at events in Bradford surrounding the Windrush Generation as part of projects for Bradford 2025.
In his graduate season, Solomon will be portraying the roguish pirate George Badger in Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, Treasure Island and portraying Theseus the Hero of Athens in Welcome to Thebes written by Moira Buffini.
