Bio
Tali Jackson is a 22-year-old actor/singer from Hertfordshire currently based in Leeds. She grew up in theatre groups and began singing lessons at age 8 - training in multiple disciplines naturally swayed her in the direction of musical theatre. Since then, she has gone onto achieve her musical theatre diploma from the London College of Music in 2020.
From September 2021 Tali has been training at Leeds Conservatoire. Her roles so far include Nina in The Seagull (Anton Chekov) and Stupid F**king Bird (Aaron Posner) and Cleo/Kleopatra Maximovna in The Suicide (Suhayla El-Bushra and Nikolai Erdman). She also worked alongside Aaron Posner in researching and developing a recent project of his - The Cherry Tortured, playing the part of V.
Outside of her training Tali has also pursued her love of performing and entertaining, partaking in gigs with Leeds based bands: Private Reg, The 222, and Substandards, and most recently coming out with her first ever original solo track ‘Hottest Rooftop Bar in Town’. She debuted the new single at her release party in London in August 2023.
Tali has always had an interest in directing, and was able to fuel this passion when she was offered the opportunity to Co artistically direct and produce The 2023 New Age Fundraiser, a student-led fundraiser in Leeds in aid of engaging young people with the arts.
Tali is ecstatic to have made her directorial debut as the Assistant Director of Vernon God Little at the Chroma Q Theatre. As well as upcoming engagement, playing the role of Ismene in Welcome to Thebes at The Carriageworks Theatre.
