Bio
Georgia Barnett is an accomplished Actor Musician, based in Leeds and Nottingham, currently in her graduate year at Leeds Conservatoire. She is a multifaceted performer trained in acting, physical theatre and dance, with a strong background in musical theatre. As a skilled multi-instrumentalist, she specialises in voice (sung) and saxophone, alongside playing bass guitar, guitar, and piano.
During her training, Georgia made her professional debut in All the Joy You Can Wish, directed by Alan Lane at the Shakespeare North Playhouse, 2022, and continued working with companies like Wrongsemble and Slung Low. Some credits whilst at the Conservatoire also include Yerma in Yerma and Tabby the Cat in Dick Whittington: The Rock'n'Roll Panto.
She has also developed a passion for directing, successfully overseeing her first full-scale show this summer. In the production of Treasure Island, Georgia had the roles of Assistant Director, Blind Pew, and Captain Flint, as well as previously portraying Taylor in Vernon God Little.
