Ebony Tru Palmer is a Sheffield born actor who grew up in Essex. She is currently in her third year of training at Leeds Conservatoire and began her career at 17, after deciding in college that she wanted to pursue acting and train at drama school with no prior experience. She enjoys roles that are emotionally raw and demanding that enable her to discover new things about the characters she plays, and herself. So far in training, Ebony has played different roles which all range in characteristics. Her credits include Masha in The Seagull, Antigonus in The Winter’s Tale, and God/Good Deeds in Everyman.
In her third year she will play Bailey Gallagher in John Proctor is the Villain ( Kimberly Belflower) at The Leeds Playhouse, as well as Emilia 2 in Emilia ( Morgan Lloyd Malcom) Which allows her to express her passion for underestimated women taking up space.
