Bio
Emma is a multifaceted, vibrant Actor and Director from Sheffield. Born and bred in Yorkshire, Emma has developed a passion for Northern work and wishes to continue supporting this within her career.
A strong vocalist, Emma completed her DipLCM in Music Theatre at just 19. Her drive for theatre ignited when performing ‘Class’ (NT Connections 2019) at the Dorfman Theatre. Soon after, she achieved her Foundation in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and in the same year travelled to Manchester to expand her earlier training at The Arden under the HNC Acting course.
Alongside her 3-year training at Leeds Conservatoire, Emma has also worked with Sheffield Theatres on an R&D of a provoking new play ‘Virtuous’ by Eleanor May Blackburn and as a puppeteer with Trigger Stuff on the outdoor theatrical performance ‘The Hatchling’.
In her graduate season, Emma is thrilled to be performing as ‘Bottom’ in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and taking the role of Intimacy Captain and ‘Sarah Good’ in ‘The Crucible’ (Leeds Playhouse), showcasing her admiration for work which empowers women.
