Bio

Sam is a multidisciplinary Actor, Poet and Writer based in Merseyside and Leeds. Sam has had a diverse range of experience acting on stage and screen alongside performing spoken word.  

Before studying at Leeds Conservatoire, Sam trained at LIPA Sixth Form College, The National Youth Theatre of Britain and The Young Everyman Theatre Liverpool. From this Sam has developed extensive skills in devising and storytelling. In 2020, Sam received an award for winning a Young Writers competition for his short story ‘The Puppet of Fate’.  

In this graduate season, Sam will be portraying Reverend Parris in The Crucible in The Courtyard Theatre at Leeds Playhouse and Kurt/Jimmy/Janne in ‘Let the Right One In’ at Leeds City Varieties. Alongside his performances Sam will be embracing the role of Assistant Director in ‘Let the Right One In’, where he is eager to utilise his commitment, tenacity and curiosity as a creative.
