Bio
Sean Merrick is a 21 year old classically trained actor, born in Hereford but now based in Somerset and Leeds. Sean is in his final year studying BA Acting at Leeds Conservatoire.
In 2023, Sean took on the role of Dillon in Soundproofbox’s Red Flags, an interactive and improvisation-based theatre in education production about coercive control and abusive relationships, which toured Yorkshire.
Highlight roles at Leeds Conservatoire include Konstantin Treplev in The Seagull, Polixenes in The Winter’s Tale, Harry in King Charles III, Ensemble in Love and Information.
Sean is trained in Singing, Hip-Hop and Tap Dance, enjoys playing guitar, and has worked as casual crew in theatres and independent feature films.
Sean is passionate about stage and screen acting and would love to work in both disciplines.
Sean is excited to be performing as Judge Hathorne in The Crucible at Leeds Playhouse and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Slung Low in his final year productions.
