Bio
Joseph Atanacio is a Filipino/British Actor Musician, currently studying Actor Musicianship at Leeds Conservatoire. Growing up in the Philippines, Joe always admired acting. He loved watching films and plays and was fascinated by storytelling as a whole. He took part in his school’s annual plays and created short films on his phone with friends. What spawned from this was a love for acting early on. That love continued to grow and eventually, Joe decided to leave his home behind and move to the UK in 2019 to study acting and pursue his dream.
Joe also enjoys playing music on his guitar and bass, frequently playing Filipino music that takes him back to his home and makes it so that it’s never too far away.
He enjoys playing a variety of roles and in his graduate year Joe is looking forward to playing Mason Adams in “John Proctor is the Villain” and Snout in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
