Bio
Lúcia Grilo is an actor and musician from Manchester. Growing up in a music-loving household, she was initially drawn more to music, starting singing and piano lessons at an early age, and later discovered a desire to act. During her training, Lúcia has enjoyed exploring how musicianship and acting can be combined into a singular artform. Her main interests include screen acting, musical theatre and naturalism but she is open to explore and widen her range. She is a strong musician, both solo and ensemble, with Grade 8 in piano as well as playing guitar, bass guitar and saxophone. Lúcia is also a skilled operatic and musical theatre style singer.
In her graduate season, she will be playing the role of ‘Kate’s Uncle/Ensemble’ in That Bloody Woman and ‘Lady Cordelia’ and music captain/composer in Emilia. She is excited to work with her castmates and try new creative approaches to her work.
