Bio
Ella is a versatile, physical actor, from the North, who is currently in her graduate year at Leeds Conservatoire where she recently worked with Aaron Posner, playing the role of Anna in his new play: The Cherry Tortured. Ella also played the role of Johanna Faustus in the conservatoires production of Faustus: That Damned Woman, directed by Aimee Burns Walker. This year, she has also appeared in a number of short films in partnership with Leeds Arts students and for Signal Film and Media.
Ella is skilled in physical theatre and contemporary movement as, before attending the conservatoire, she received training in classical ballet and tap and also contemporary dance. She also has a background in Musical Theatre, making her a capable vocalist too.
During Ella's graduate season, she was delighted to play Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet at Leeds Playhouse. To round out her undergraduate studies, she will be playing Phoebe Virtue in Mike Bartlett’s Scandal Town at Leeds City Varieties in her final year at Leeds Conservatoire.
