Leeds Conservatoire is pleased to announce a £116,000 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to help create, secure, and develop a sustainable and accessible musical archive.

Owen Moriarty, who studied Music Production, has created a piece of music to accompany an immersive installation at this year’s event.

Students, soon-to-be graduates, and alumni from Leeds Conservatoire are set to perform and complete paid placements at We Out Here festival. This is linked to an ongoing partnership, now in its fifth year.

This summer, Leeds becomes the stage for a spectacular, city centre immersive experience inspired by Lewis Carroll’s timeless tales.

Following a successful collaboration at last year’s Sketches, involving a Music Production student from Leeds Conservatoire and a Northern Ballet dancer and choreographer, a new alliance was part of the 2025 programme.

Leeds Conservatoire students, and soon-to-be graduates, are set to perform and complete paid work placements at Deer Shed Festival as part of a new partnership.
