Katie Shortt, a graduating member of Leeds Conservatoire’s first Acting cohort, performed Brunswick Productions’ The 4 Worst Things I’ve Ever Done in Northern Ireland last summer and received rave reviews.

Now, Katie is set to perform the one-woman play at Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe from 2 to 13 August 2023. In addition, recordings of Katie’s fantastic performance will be shown at both the Vancouver Fringe and Ukraine Fringe.

The 4 Worst Things I’ve Ever Done, written by Ewan McGowan, with contributions from Louise O’Dowd and Rosie McWilliams, is a dark comedy which explores themes of meaning, morality, existentialism and grief in a uniquely funny and thought-provoking way. Audience discretion is advised as the play contains strong language and mature themes, such as sexual assault and drug abuse.
Audience feedback on Katie’s previous performances as Erin included “Katie Shortt is fabulous,” “staggeringly good” and “the hairs on my arms were standing.”
Leeds Conservatoire is proud of the quality of its training and that many students, like Katie, achieve professional credits before graduating.
