He has recently returned with his single, Feelings (Island), which has over a million UK streams.

Talking about his upcoming 'The out of the Blue tour', John commented, "I want to take my music back to its roots, back to where it all started and what made me happy and appreciative of the big gigs I do now". The tour kicks off on 30 June at York The Crescent and is coming to Leeds Brudenell Social Club on 9 July. The gigs are set to be more intimate and stripped back and are almost completely sold out, if you want tickets, be quick!

Hailing from Settle, North Yorkshire John first moved to Leeds to study on our BTEC programme in Popular Music.

"I was drawn in time and time again into the music scene within Leeds and the talent that was already there. Leeds College of Music was of interest to me because it is one of the best conservatoires in the country. As soon as I became fully absorbed I started gigging."

To date, his artistry boasts three Number One Singles, three BRIT Award Nominations and six million singles sold world-wide, as well as numerous eminent collaborations; working with Paloma Faith, Nile Rodgers and Sigala to name a few.
