Building a successful career spanning two decades, Neil has an impressive portfolio of clients, having worked with names such as Katherine Jenkins, David Arnold and The Prague Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His scores cover a variety of genres, including documentaries, films, and sports promo. Signing with SMA is a tribute to Neil's varied high profile work and awards.

SMA Talent is one of the largest and most experienced international film and television communities representing some of the most creative talent in the industry. Neil is joining an outstanding listing of artists including Mike Moran, Dave Rowntree and Matt Sheeran.

A BAFTA nominated composer, Neil's work has attracted varied critical acclaim. He has twice been the recipient of the prestigious Gold Promax award for his work on the British Lions Tour of New Zealand and RBS Golf. He also received a Royal Television Society award for best sports title sequence for the British Lions Tour. Additionally Neil has received recognition (including a British Academy, Royal Television Society and an International Emmy) for co-writing the first and fifth seasons to Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball.

Neil said, "having the support and experience of SMA is a great step forward with all aspects of the industry, and have already seen the benefits with negotiating and pitching. I think one of the great things about representation is freeing up time to create, but really grateful for the opportunity to work with them."

Neil graduated from the diploma course in 1998, gaining some of his core musical training in composition and the classical music tradition, commenting that "the graduate diploma in music gave me a solid grounding in the skills I now use every day".
