Leeds College of Music is delighted to announce that it has received a grant of £211,242 to help support Postgraduate and Jazz students studying at the conservatoire.
This significant award will provide invaluable financial support, based on excellence, to musicians enrolling at LCoM.
The Leverhulme Scholarships will support students on our BA (Hons) Music (Jazz) and MMus Creative Musician degrees, encouraging talented musicians to apply to the conservatoire, irrespective of socio-economic background.
The Postgraduate Scholarships will support twelve individuals with the entire cost of tuition fees for our one-year full-time MMus Creative Musician programme over a three - year period. The course offers the opportunity for students to develop their skills as a professional-level musician and collaborate with leading composers, performers and producers.
Similarly, twelve exceptional students on the BA (Hons) Music (Jazz) will be offered a Leverhulme Arts Scholarship. This will be awarded on the basis of excellence and will cover accommodation costs during their first year of study at the conservatoire.
