New for 2022, Leeds Conservatoire is delighted to offer its graduating Performing Arts students the opportunity to join the Leeds Conservatoire Agency.
The Agency is already well established in the music industry, and was previously nominated for a prestigious Guardian Education Award in the Employability and Entrepreneurship category.
The newly-formed Performing Arts branch of the Agency is active on Spotlight, and works with clients across the industry, in Musical Theatre, television and film, to provide work and casting opportunities to kickstart and enhance graduates’ careers.
The Leeds Conservatoire Agency is a great way for graduates to take their first steps into the industry; helping them to find work that suits them, flagging open casting opportunities, and submitting them for roles they are interested in.
Signing with the Agency does not hinder graduates’ chances of signing with other agencies. In fact, graduates are encouraged to reach out and find representation that best suits them.
James Warrender, Employability and Enterprise Manager at Leeds Conservatoire, says, “We always look to create new and ground breaking ways to connect our students and graduates with the creative industries, and our new Performing Arts Agency is an exciting example of this. Building on the success of our musical performer focussed Agency, it will help our graduates utilise their skills and progress their ambitions by providing early career work experience and paid work opportunities. We can’t wait to work more with this inspiring group of performers!”
