Leeds Conservatoire has partnered with local higher education provider, University Centre Leeds, to facilitate their delivery of two brand-new foundation degree courses in Production Arts.
Prospective applicants for University Centre Leeds will have the choice of studying Design Realisation for Events, Stage and Screen or Technical Theatre and Stage Management, with opportunities to work alongside students from Leeds Conservatoire on a variety of events and productions.
In addition to a wealth of collaborative opportunities with the students of Leeds Conservatoire, University Centre Leeds students will also have access to our state-of-the-art performance space, The Venue, fitted with professional theatre lighting and sound equipment.
Through this partnership delivery, the courses are expected to give students invaluable real-world training for the booming backstage and production arts industries: a sector that's hungry for creative, practical staff with the right skills and knowledge.
Leeds Conservatoire Vice Principal, Patsy Gilbert, said: "Since beginning our Performing Arts degrees in 2019 we have been building an exciting programme of plays and musicals across the year.
