LCoM have scooped an award for Best Small Festival in the prestigious Drum Experience Awards, for Sounds Like THIS.
The awards seek to showcase excellence in events and featured nominees from across the industry.
The judges commended LCoM’s commitment to new and exciting music which is underrepresented in the mainstream, presenting work which is intriguing, engaging and challenging.
Head of Events and Festival Director Paul Abbott, said “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this accolade which recognises our bold programming of forward-thinking, cutting-edge music. Many people across the conservatoire put in hard work to make the festival happen, and this award is a great recognition of everybody’s enthusiasm and contributions."
