Track 1: Maya Delilah - Thank You
This smooth R&B Soul track features drums from 2nd Year student Cameron Byrom. The drums were recorded at the conservatoire.
Track 2: LELO - Faceache
"Faceache is about overthinking. That horrible thing we're all guilty of doing late at night that stops us from sleeping." - Ronan, Lead Singer & Guitarist of LELO.
Track 3: English Teacher - R&B
"[The song] is about the cyclical, productivity-diminishing paradox of low self-esteem and imposter syndrome-induced writer's block that then fuels low self-esteem and imposter syndrome. It's also about racial identity and putting the love that you have to offer a potential romantic partner back into yourself." - English Teacher, Band.

Track 5: The Sound of Modesty - A Perfect Blue II Instrumental
The Sound of Modesty is a project created by singer-songwriter and producer Yvonne Han, a talented student on our Music Production degree. The Sound of Modesty is one of our artists performing at Sound City 2021.
Track 6: Jon Gomm - Swallow You Whole
Jon Gomm is an acclaimed English singer-songwriter and performer and one of our Jazz degree graduates. This new song 'Swallow You Whole' is Jon's "attempt at the calm frenzy and cold warmth of Drum & Bass."
Track 7: For You The Moon - Lost Without It
'Lost Without It' is For You The Moon's debut song. The band have recently signed with and will be releasing their first EP very soon.
Track 8: Yusuf Yellow - Lost But Not Forgotten
Yusuf Yellow is a Leeds-based rapper who shares his personal experiences through relatable and honest lyrics. Yusuf is another one of our artists performing at Sound City 2021.
Track 9: Felix Hirte - The River's Journey
Felix is a composer currently studying on our Film Music degree. The piece represents the journey of the water in a river. It starts as a small mountain stream, expanding into lots of water, dashing through strong rapids, rushing down waterfalls, and travelling through the beautiful landscape.
Track 10: Absolute Zero - Dog Fight
'Dog Fight' is a club-ready electro house track produced by third-year Production student Louis, under the stage name Absolute Zero. Louis' main inspirations are Avicii, DubVision and Porter Robinson.
Track 11: King Violet - October
King Violet is a four-piece all-girl band. They will soon record their upcoming EP, which is their next project after this single 'October'.
Track 12: WIINK - Pisco Riot
WIINK are a three-piece rock band that all study at Leeds Conservatoire. 'Pisco Riot' is the first track from their upcoming EP, which will be released on the 22 October.
