• PRS For Music: Women Make Music supports the development of outstanding women, trans and non binary songwriters and composers of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. The fund can support projects by women, trans and non binary songwriters, composers, artists, bands and performers who are writing their own music. (13 March)
• National Youth Theatre & Leeds Playhouse: Take Part. Develop your acting skills and perform with LEEDS 2023, the National Youth Theatre and Leeds Playhouse to raise awareness about the climate crisis. Free acting course and performance opportunity for young people to develop their acting skills and perform (for anyone based in West Yorkshire aged 17-25 years old or who identify as disabled and/or neurodiverse, aged 17-30 years old). We’ve partnered with the National Youth Theatre, Leeds Playhouse and Compass Collective to offer this free ten-day acting course for young people across Leeds and West Yorkshire who love acting and performance. No experience of performing or acting is required. This is an opportunity to experience something new and develop key skills in confidence and finding your voice. We're looking for people who are excited to take part in an ambitious show in response to the climate crisis. (26 March)

• Launchpad: Artist and Project Support invites applications for targeted support for emerging artists, musicians, producers, bands, composers, emerging music professionals and businesses (such as those wanting to work in music management, events, record labels, publishing and more.) in the Yorkshire region. Yorkshire-based music folks are eligible to apply to receive support via one to one advice, performance opportunities, recording support, career and business development, and funding. (10 April)

• Arts Council England: National Lottery Project Grants, an open access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects. The fund supports thousands of individual artists, community and cultural organisations. (Ongoing)
• Grand Plan: Open Grants, £1,000 (3 grants available each month), for people of colour based in the UK who want to make a new cultural project happen. (Ongoing)
• Help Musicians: Recording and Releasing Music, apply for financial support of up to £3,000 towards recording and releasing music; and everything that goes around getting your music out there into the world. (Ongoing)
• Help Musicians: MOBO Help Musicians Fund, apply for financial support of up to £3,000 towards recording and releasing music; and everything that goes around getting your music out there into the world. The MOBO Help Musicians Fund exists to facilitate these opportunities for musicians making Hip Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, music of African origin, Reggae, Jazz and Gospel (Ongoing)
• Help Musicians: Develop Your Skills, apply for financial support of up to £1,500 to help you take advantage of opportunities that enhance your skills or artistic practice - e.g. virtual conference, online course, coaching, mentoring. (Ongoing)
• Help Musicians: Music Led Creative Collaboration, musicians can apply for financial support of up to £5,000 to undertake a UK-based collaboration between themselves and other non-music artists - e.g. storytellers, lighting designers, choreographers, technologists, scientists, gaming designers, theatre directors or visual artists. (Ongoing)
• Leeds Inspired: Small Grants, apply for small grants of £100 - £1200 for arts projects (Ongoing)
• Youth Music: The Youth Music NextGen Fund offers young creatives grants of up to £2,500 to make their ideas happen. (Ongoing)
• Ad:venture: The Price's Trust Explore Enterprise programme provides support and funding for setting up your own buiness (Ongoing)
• Create Debut: The Black Artists Grant (BAG) is offered as a no-strings-attached financial support to help black artists. (Ongoing)

• Yorkshire Ladies Council of Education: YLCE Awards. Female postgraduate students who are eligible to pay Home fees can apply for an award directly to this local charity to help with study costs. Applications are assessed in September, March and June. Completed forms must be received by the first day of the relevant month.

• Generator North East: Release Yourself. A programme designed to guide artists through the process of releasing music (Ongoing)
• Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI): Unpaid Internships in Brussels. JMI is the world’s largest youth-music non-profit organisation with members in over 70 countries worldwide. To manage and run all these activities and projects, every year, JMI offers exciting internships within its many different programs and departments. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and positions are being filled in for any time during the year. (Ongoing)
