Becca Wilkins is a London-based vocalist, performing across genres, whilst specialising in contemporary jazz voice.
A graduate of the University of Birmingham and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Becca Wilkins is a regular collaborator with multi-award-winning composer, Olivia Murphy. Becca is featured in the Olivia Murphy Jazz Orchestra EP 'somewhere, not so far away', as well as in various sextet and trio releases.
Elsewhere, Becca can be found performing with London Vocal Project, one of the UK’s leading contemporary vocal ensembles led by Pete Churchill, as well as alongside jazz pianist Maria Grapsa.
Becca is trained in Estill and Vocal Health, and has led jazz workshops globally, including Tinos Jazz Festival, Greece, and the National Singing Symposium, UK.
Her upcoming debut album, 'Rêverie' is a collection of reimagined French Chanson with her trio of Olly Chalk (piano), Sam Ingvorsen (bass) and Billy Pod (drums). This music brings Becca’s Francophilia into sharp focus through the lens of contemporary jazz, and the collection showcases her skills as a song interpreter, band leader and improviser. This music debuted in September 2023 with performances at Saffron Hall, Hampstead Jazz Club and Tinos Jazz Festival. An UK album release tour is scheduled for early Summer 2025.
