Emma Trow

Emma began performing at the age of 11, touring the UK and USA with the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT). She then went on to travel the world with National Youth Choirs of Great Britain (NYCGB). Emma trained classically at Chethams School of Music and then the Royal College of Music in London.

Taking a break from performing, she returned to her home town of Durham and explored directing and writing. Emma graduated in 2009 from RCSSD with a Masters in Musical Theatre and went on to form her own theatre company, Pitgems, which performed personal and political theatre written by Emma and her workshop cohort.

Emma is now a devoted mum and Pilates teacher in the Lake District and enjoys inspiring students as their vocal coach at ALRA North and RCS.
