Harriet is a tap dance and choreography specialist drawing her teaching and creative experiences from a diverse dance background and long-term training in New York City. 

In NYC, Harriet was mentored by Barbara Duffy and Thelma Goldberg,and studied with Michelle Dorrance, Chloe Arnold, Heather Cornell, Brenda Bufalino, Guillem Alonso, Lynn Schwab, Derick Grant, Randy Skinner and Ray Hesselink. Previously, she studied musical theatre and dance at the Urdang Academy, London, Footprints Tap Dance Centre in Germany and Off Jazz Dance Center in France.

Now based in UK, Harriet is a teacher, performer and choreographer, and co-founder of Theatre Tap London where she is on regular faculty at Pineapple Dance Studios, London, coaching musical theatre professionals.

She is a faculty member of Tap Dance Festival UK; a tap dance platform based in North of England and a guest lecturer at various dance colleges; The Urdang Academy, PPA, University of Lincoln.

Harriet is Assistant Principal of Go Dance Studios, a junior dance school in Lincolnshire where she is the creator and director of the Aspiring Dancer Programme; a training programme for elite young dancers and performers.

Harriet holds a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Durham, ISTD Teaching Diplomas in Dance Education in Tap, Modern Jazz and Ballet, and a Teaching Certificate from the American Tap Dance Foundation.
