Lauren has a strong performance background touring the UK, in her own project as a vocalist and guitarist where she has supported artists including Holly Humberstone, Lewis Capaldi and Newton Faulkner, playing Bass with Sunflower Thieves (BBC Radio 1, 6) and providing vocals in the Josephine Sillars Band (DYCP funded).
As well as this, Lauren has proven herself as a song-writer. Works from her artist project have been broadcast nationally across BBC Introducing and her debut EP was awarded a ‘Best of BBC Radio West Yorkshire’. Tracks from multiple projects she has been involved in across the years have been championed by publications such as: Tenement TV, The Skinny and The Line of Best Fit.
Lauren collaborated with film composer Katie Phillips by writing and performing the trailer and credits song for the film ‘The Spaceman’ released in 2024 (starring Woody Norman Amanda Abbington and Colin Farrell).

Lauren was awarded the ‘Leverhulme Arts Award’ where she received a full scholarship which funded her MMus with Distinction. |
