Biography

Courses Taught: FdA Electronic Music Production, Introduction to Mixing and Mastering

Marlon Hodelin (BA Hons, PGCE, MMus) specialises in computer music technology, composing for Film and TV, and studio recording and production.

As a former A&R representative for WEA (Warner, Electra, Atlantic) Records, Marlon's projects included Mark Morrison (Return of The Mack 1996) Gina G (Oops Ah Just A Little Bit 1997) Shola Ama (Need Somebody 1997).

Marlon was formerly one half of the Bliss n Script project, in which they released their debut single Honey Child in 2007, one of the UK’s most sort after crossover R’n’B acts. Remix projects include remixes for Jay Z (Rocafella Records / Def Jam Recordings, Street / Club Mixes U.S only), SecondNature, Redman & Methodman (Def Jam Recordings, Street / Club Mixes U.S only).

Additionally, Marlon aka Script has worked with many top producers and artists such as Sticky, Dexplicit, Leif, The BeatMasters, Victor Simonelli, and Marc Kinchern (part of Quincy Jones’s writing team) to name but a few.

Marlon is still working at the forefront of the industry, producing remixes for various existing artists and record labels as well as working as a mixing and mastering engineer on various projects.
