More recently he has been a prolific speaker on songwriting for the Prince's Teaching Institute, Cambridge University, Future FWD Conference and many other music education conferences. He is passionate about creative development and currently mentors several alumni from Leeds Conservatoire.

"Within songwriting, we have the ability to share our passion and our story. It is a unique vehicle that combines the power of words and melody to create compelling moments that can remain in the memory for a lifetime. Songs are one of the first things we teach our children and one of the last things we use to help the elderly to reconnect with their past. They have an undeniable power to influence humanity and at Leeds Conservatoire, we have the opportunity to study them on a three year BA degree in an incredible city full of amazing talent."
