Rob Crisp has 15 years experience of making music with a wide range of groups, encompassing youth work, art for mental health and well-being improvement, delivery in education establishments including a secondary music PGCE, and work with people with dementia and their carers.

His diverse musical background ranges from classical and jazz to rock and pop through to electronic music, and he’s delivered workshops in African and Japanese percussion, English folk and sea shanties, music technology to create soundtracks, improvisation and more. Heavily influenced by over ten years of work with Hoot Creative Arts, Rob is committed to providing high quality and fun sessions that inspire, educate and above all make people feel good through the transformational quality of music.

As a performer he has been the bassist in blues rock band Knuckle for the last six years, with performances across the UK and Europe, releases on Wakefield label Philobhobia, and second album ‘Life’s a Bench Then They Put Your Name On It’ due out February 17th. He is also clarinettist/guitarist/vocalist in prog folk group Samh, saxophonist in Yellow Goose, and writes and plays everything in solo project Rib Corps.
