Simon Hardwick
Simon is a dynamic choreographer with a passion for emotive story-telling. His previous work includes: Lin Manuel Miranda’s 21 Chump Street (Courtyard Theatre), Brass (Bernie Grant Arts Centre), Heathers & Dear Evan Hansen music videos for Stagebox, Aladdin (The Hawth, Crawley) and Shuffle - a short independent dance film, which he also directed.
As Associate Choreographer - Strictly Ballroom (Piccadilly); Jesus Christ Superstar (Regents Park Open Air Theatre & Lyric Opera, Chicago); The Lorax (The Old Vic); Drunk (Bridewell); Associate Director on Jekyll and Hyde (The Old Vic).
As a performer, Simon has appeared in numerous productions including; Miss Saigon (Prince Edward); Chicago (Curve, Leicester); A Chorus Line (Palladium); Wicked (Original Cast - Victoria Palace); Grease (Piccadilly); The Who’s Tommy (English Theatre, Frankfurt); High School Musical (Hammersmith Apollo); Footloose (UK Tour); Elton John & Tim Rice’s Aida (Colosseum Theater Essen); Smokey Joe’s Café (Landor). Simon has worked with longstanding musical-theatre industry professionals including Wayne Cilento, Joel Mantello, Arlene Phillips, Jeff Calhoun, Baayork Lee and also regularly assists Olivier Award winner, Drew McOnie.
