Leeds Junior Conservatoire FAQs 2024/25

Arrange to visit on Saturday, staff are usually free after 9:30 unless it is a day with an event running.

Timetables will be sent out as soon as they are finalised which is usually the first week in September.

Students will collect their ID card in the first two weeks of term in September.
Leeds Junior Conservatoire students can add 1-1 lessons to their 4-hour programme at a 10% discounted rate of £45 per hour (usually £50 per hour).
All bursary notifications will be sent out by the end of August 2024.
If you would like to apply for a bursary but didn't choose to apply for one on your completed enrolment form, please let us know by emailing Junior@lcm.ac.uk.
You can either pay in full or by monthly standing order.
Whether you would like to pay in full or by monthly standing order, we will send details out at the beginning of September. Monthly standing orders should be set up from 16 September 2024 - 16 June 2025.
We understand that people’s choices change, so please email Junior@lcm.ac.uk with any requests after the enrolment form has been completed. Although not guaranteed, we will try our best to change your timetable.
LJC Space FAQs
- Your username is your student ID.
- Your password is your usual password you use to log onto computers at Leeds Conservatoire.
If you have never logged onto a computer at Leeds Conservatoire, your login will have been emailed to you.
Email junior@lcm.ac.uk stating the problem you are having.
Check the family email registered for LJC. Passwords will be emailed at the start of term. If you can’t find the email, contact LJC before Saturday to have these resent.
Please note, the IT Department do not work weekends, so will only be able to help with issues Monday-Friday.

If you can’t hear any sound when using your computer/device, try these solutions:
- Check you don’t have any headphones already plugged in
- Check you’re not connected to any Bluetooth speakers or headphones
- Check you have the correct audio output settings by visiting ‘Settings’ on PC and ‘System Preferences’ on Mac.
