Our two-week UK Theatre Intensive offers a unique opportunity for international students to experience in-depth training and the richness of British theatre.

With skills classes, industry masterclasses, and trips to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s West End, this programme combines training with unforgettable cultural experiences. Student must be 18 years of age, on or before 16 August 2025.  

This course is an intermediate programme of study, designed to advance acquired skill.  

Participants will require some previous experience of actor training. Below is a non-exhaustive list of previous experience that may apply: 

  • Previous college training in performing arts, drama or voice. 
  • The study of drama, voice or performing arts as a college minor.  
  • Regular participation in vocational/extracurricular theatre training.  
  • Foundational training [e.g. Diploma, 6th Form College] 
  • Current summer break from undergraduate training.  
  • National Youth Theatre (or equivalent).   
  • Regular experience in amateur production.  
  • Participation in preparatory course for Drama School/Conservatoire training.  

All students must have fluent, confident use and knowledge of the English language.

Students booking the residential package will be provided with 14 nights’ accommodation in Leeds city centre.  

Accommodation is provided by the following third party: Unite Students Leeds  

Student accommodation includes bedding, kitchen packs and towels.
