Go to UCAS Conservatoires to accept your offer.

When you receive your A Level/BTEC results you will receive confirmation of your place if you have met our entry requirements.

If you haven’t met our entry requirements, get in touch with us during Clearing. We may still accept you or be able to advise you on what to do next.

Please note: Acting, Actor Musician and Musical Theatre applicants wishing to start their course in September 2025 will need to apply via UCAS from September 2024. Leeds Conservatoire cannot accept 2025 applications prior to this, and is unable to offer deferred places.
If you have used all 5 of your UCAS choices and do not hold any offers or you have rejected all of your offers, you can add an extra choice via UCAS Extra (from 28 Feb-4 July)
From 5 July you can make an application through Clearing. You can use Clearing if you’re not already holding any offers, if you have declined all of your offers or if you're applying for the first time after 30 June. More details on Clearing will be available in July.

UK applicants to certain courses at Leeds Conservatoire will need to audition, interview or submit a portfolio of work. Your audition may take place online or in-person, but we will provide full guidance for you and any associated deadlines in due course.

You must apply via UCAS Conservatoires if you have already made an application via UCAS Conservatoires to Leeds Conservatoire or any other institution.
You may only use the direct application form if you have not already made an application via UCAS Conservatoires to Leeds Conservatoire or any other institution.
Important: If you have an existing or prior application via UCAS Conservatoires to any institution you must apply via UCAS Conservatoires and cannot submit a direct application.
1. To apply direct for one of our postgraduate courses, you should click the link for the relevant course below.
It is important you use the correct link for your course, as the form is specific to each course, and if you use the incorrect link you will be applying for the wrong course.
2. You should check the course you are applying to is correct, and you will be asked to create a new user account:
3. You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. Click on the 'Continue my application' link in this email.
4. On returning to the applicant portal, you should see your application. Click 'view' to open the application form.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to fill in the requested information and continue the application process. You will not be able to submit your application until all sections have been completed.
6. If you wish to apply to an additional course, please return to this page and click the relevant link for any additional course. You can then login with the user account you created earlier.

Applicants who have undertaken learning which has been formally assessed and certified by another educational institution or training provider, as well as applicants who have gained formal recognition of learning through other experience (e.g. in-house training programmes that are not externally assessed), may be able to use this towards their study at Leeds Conservatoire either to satisfy entry requirements or to join the programme at a later stage. The following document provides further information on the conservatoire’s APL application procedure.
Information for students that want to change course, whether it's moving from a different institution to Leeds Conservatoire, changing course or pathway once you're already here, or moving to a different institution after starting at Leeds Conservatoire.
Applications to transfer to Leeds Conservatoire from another institution should be made through UCAS or UCAS Conservatoires in the usual way. The accreditation of prior learning procedure will be followed where the application is for year 2 or 3 of the programme and the applicant will be expected to provide information about their current studies, for example a transcript and programme specification. Applicants who are studying in the UK under a Student (formerly Tier 4) visa should be aware that they will be required to return to their home country to apply for a new visa sponsored by Leeds Conservatoire if their application to transfer is successful.
Students may apply to transfer to a different programme at the end of an academic year for the following year, or until week 2 of their current academic year. This is a wholly internal process and the student should discuss the request with the Programme Leader of the new course in the first instance. If the transfer may entail repeating a level of study or transferring to a longer course, students should also discuss their intentions with the Student Funding Team so that they are aware of the financial situation. Students who are studying at Leeds Conservatoire under a Student (formerly Tier 4) visa should also discuss their intentions with the Registry Team.
Leeds Conservatoire understands that there may be occasions where a student wishes to transfer to another institution and is supportive of those decisions. Students are advised to discuss this with their Programme Leader and the Student Funding Team, and also to investigate the application and credit transfer procedures at the new institution as they vary between institutions. Programme and module specifications are readily available to students on the VLE and students are issued with a transcript at the end of each academic year which they may wish to use to support their application. Students who are studying at Leeds Conservatoire under a Student (formerly Tier 4) visa should seek advice from the new institution with regard to applying for a new visa.
