When you are offered a place to study at Leeds Conservatoire, your next step is to think about where to live. Joseph Stones House (managed by Unite Students) is on campus at St. Peter’s Square and we have 152 en-suite rooms available for conservatoire students. Information about how to apply, including rental costs, will be shown here in early Spring.

Applicants joining us in September 2025, who have firmly accepted their offer of study, can apply for accommodation from 13 May 2025 onwards.
We can prioritise the following applicants who have an offer of study, providing you contact the Accommodation Team before 13 May 2025 to discuss your requirements:
If you apply for accommodation in May, we will aim to let you know which room you’ve been allocated before end of June.
We usually have enough rooms for all undergraduate applicants who have firmly accepted their offer of study by June. We don't guarantee accommodation but we do our best to meet the demand each year.
If we don’t have a room available for you, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and either add your name to a waiting list or signpost you to other nearby options.
Information about moving in will be available from early Spring.

Please note:
Should you choose not to come to Leeds Conservatoire and the reason is neither a serious personal issue nor failure to get your grades, then you may be tied in to paying your tenancy for the full year if your room cannot be reallocated.
Should serious personal reasons prevent you from taking up your place please contact us for advice.
Please read carefully the terms of the Unite Students or Unipol Cancellation Policy or which you can access alongside your contract.
