Accommodation for under 18s (H)

Find out about accommodation for students aged under 18.

It is unlikely that applicants will have achieved our entry requirements before reaching the age of 18 on entry.

However, circumstances may occasionally arise where an applicant will be under 18 on entry to the conservatoire and in these situations advice will be sought from the Head of Student Services to ensure that safeguarding obligations are met. It is important to be aware that there are limited accommodation options available for younger applicants to consider.

The following options are available to students at Leeds Conservatoire, but it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure that the accommodation is suitable for your needs. Please contact the accommodation provider directly for more information, viewings and to make a booking.

We strongly recommend you use the services of Unipol; a reputable, charitable trust, partly funded by universities and colleges in Leeds (including Leeds Conservatoire) to help students find a place to live. It’s non-profit making and provides free and comprehensive services.

Unipol have a Tenancy Support Officer who will take the lead in supporting under 18's and their families from the application stage. Visit the Unipol website for more information.

One Mill Street is a Unipol-owned hall of residence that is popular with Leeds Conservatoire students and only a four minute walk from the conservatoire.
