Student Profiles

Frankie is currently studying on our MA Music Programme. We spoke to Frankie about his music, time at Leeds Conservatoire and life in Leeds.

Lily is a first-year student on our BA (Hons) Actor Musician programme. Originally from Essex, Lily is busy exploring and enjoying the vibrant music and theatre scene Leeds has to offer.

Lauren Burrow (artist name, Lauren Mikki) is a second year student on our BA (Hons) Music (Popular) programme. Lauren is an RnB/Soul/Pop vocalist and songwriter.

Melissa Cameron is a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre student currently in her third year at Leeds Conservatoire. Melissa recently became a Help Musicians: Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award 2021 holder.

India Ashberry is a BA (Hons) Music (Classical) with Foundation Year student, currently in her final year.

Oliver Watson is a drummer currently in his third year on the BA (Hons) Popular Music programme at Leeds Conservatoire. Alongside being a session drummer, Oliver teaches drums, and releases music.

Lauren Gray is a first year studying on the BA (Hons) Songwriting with Foundation Year programme. Alongside her studies, Lauren performs under her artist name Lavender Gray, and in multiple bands.
