At Leeds Conservatoire, our mission is to educate and inspire the next generation of young musicians, performers and storytellers.
Leeds Conservatoire Futures is a FREE three-year scheme available to primary, secondary and FE providers, both in the UK and internationally, and aims to raise aspirations and attainment in music and performing arts.

About the Scheme
Please note that we are nearly full for this scheme on the secondary strand. (We have plenty of places available on the Primary and International strands). Any new applications for the scheme that we receive will be to start from autumn 2023. Membership of the scheme will run for three years from the start date. Joining mid-year isn’t a problem though, one of our team will be able to discuss this with you should you enquire. This scheme is designed to support you and your institution so if you’re looking to go for your Artsmark award or just looking to revamp your provision, then we would be more than happy to share our expertise.
As part of our commitment to Access and Participation and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, we’re particularly looking to support institutions with students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds in Higher Education.
How to Apply
If you are interested in applying for this scheme, please complete the application form and select the strand of the scheme that you wish to apply for. We will then be in contact with you to go through the next steps. Please note, we will need to consider each application individually to ensure that it is a mutually beneficial relationship. We cannot guarantee membership to all applicant organisations, but will try our best to accommodate as many as possible.
There will be regular opportunities throughout the scheme’s membership to speak with our team, identify areas of support required, set action plans and to provide feedback and reflection in order to ensure that this is a mutually beneficial relationship.
