Lucine Musaelian and Nathan Giorgetti formed Intesa at the Royal Academy of Music after discovering a shared passion for the viol, its combination with the voice and with new works, and the overlap between folk and baroque music. Their programmes centre around the art of self-accompaniment across genres ranging from Baroque to Pop.

If so, you’re invited on a journey across time from the Baroque music of Georg Philipp Telemann and Antonio Vivaldi, through the ages to new music written by Jörg Widmann, Giovanni Sollima, and Luciano Berio. Pablo Hernán Benedí, Jonian’s ‘violin brother’ and ‘musical soulmate’, completes this sensational string duo.

BBC New Generation Artist and YCAT violinist Hana Chang is already laureate of many international competitions whilst completing her studies at the Kronberg Academy. Internationally acclaimed for his exemplary and spirited playing, chamber musician and accompanist Jonathan Ware is a regular guest at the world’s leading recital venues, and recent appearances include Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall.
