The event pays tribute to jazz giants Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Peggy Lee, Nancy Wilson, Blossom Dearie, Diane Shuur, Diana Krall. Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, Frank Sinatra. Buddy Greco, Joe Williams, Ray Charles, and performed by Nicki Allan, Sarah Brickel, Penny McMorris, Kate Peters, Jenny Smith, Stuart Garside and Jim Pitchforth. Amongst the Alumni Big Band members are Alan Barnes. Damian Bell, Jim Corry, Joel Purnell, Kevin Holborough, Adrian Knowles and other distinguished former students spanning 60 years.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Leeds College of Music the Alumni Big Band directed by multi award winner Ronnie Bottomley (an original lecturer at the college) are presenting “A Tribute To The Jazz Singers”
