Sounds of Leeds Conservatoire + Joe Wilson (Sneaker Pimps)
We're delighted to welcome our keynote speaker for the February instalment of the Sounds Of series: record producer, musician and Sneaker Pimps member Joe Wilson.
Bassist for Sneaker Pimps at the height of their commercial and critical success, Joe has also written and produced for the band Trash Money and produces remixes and music as Omega Man. He has exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and The CCA in Glasgow, and produced music for films for Channel 4 and the BBC.
About Sounds of Leeds Conservatoire
The Sounds of Leeds Conservatoire series runs monthly throughout the year, and provides a cross-genre showcase of the conservatoire's finest performing talent.
All are welcome to enjoy a midweek gig, in one of our state-of-the-art venues - entry is free, the booking fee covers your first drink on arrival.
Join us in the Café bar for drinks after work, before heading into the atmospheric and intimate Room 218 to enjoy a concert by superb up-and-coming musicians.
Entry is free to members of the public - the booking fee buys your first drink. Please consider supporting us with a donation via the Donation Station in the Café Bar, or through our JustGiving page.
Tickets
Free - we just ask that you pay in advance for your first drink via the booking link.
When arriving at the venue, pick up your ticket from the box office at reception on Level 1, and use it to redeem a drink of your choice at the drinks table on Level 2.
